About Me
A BRIEF HISTORY
I was born in 1964 in Wisbech in Cambridgeshire but moved to Plymouth in 1966 when my father started work for the Plymouth College of Art and Design as a lecturer in photography. As a child I attended Compton Primary School and then Devonport High School for Boys. After a spell working in the contracts department for DML, I read Law at the University of Plymouth. I then attended the University of the West of England in Bristol where I passed the Diploma in Legal Practice and also a Master of Laws Degree.
I qualified as a Solicitor in 1995 working for local firms which culminated in my being a Partner in one of these firms. I worked as a Child Care Solicitor for 11 years and consequently I have an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) clearance.
After an illness in 2006, I started to learn about complementary therapies and in particular sports and remedial massage. I bring as many benefits as I can from all the therapies that I have studied into the individual massage. I strive to keep up to date on the latest research, trends and techniques in order to provide each individual client the safest most effective session available.
I now run my own massage practice from home and work as the sports massage therapist for Plymouth Albion Rugby Football Club and for Plymouth Albion Ladies Rugby Club, I also provide On-Sit Corporate Acupressure Services to local companies.
